Background and Challenges

PureScientific technologies wanted to bring the benefits of Heliox to consumers in the form a of a drug delivery device. Nectar developed a CBD delivery system that utilizes Heliox for users that use CBD daily to manage their health. Helios is drastically different than typical CBD vaporizers, therefore ensuring the user experience was critical to the success of the product.

Uncovering User Insights: Identifying Opportunities

Creating a device that is safe, and easy to use are critical in drug delivery devices. we conducted primary and secondary research to better understand the needs and challenges of the users. This process allowed us to identify and prioritize the needs and interactions that were critical to the experience and safety of the device.

An impactful interface

The digital interface was designed to be simple and intuitive. The design conveyed clear steps to the devices operation and accounts for use errors. The interface on the device allows the user to administer their dose, view use data, and more.
